Our stay at Rue du Colonel Combes was, relaxing, affordable, and memorable. We had all the comforts of home but with better-tasting groceries a block away (including one of the best bakeries in Paris), a stunning view of the Eiffel tower, and a charming and accommodating landlord. We loved the 7th, t oo: quiet, residential, full of parks, yet accessible via bus or foot to everything.

Thanks for everything. We had a great time.
We loved your apartment at 8, rue du Colonel Combes. What a perfect location: walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and Invalides. Often cooking in using the wonderful, fresh foods available at the nearby rue Cler open air markets, saved at least 50 Euros a day! You provided all the comforts of home, including a really good mattress. When we needed help, you were supportive beyond expectations. We hope to return and stay with you again. We highly recommend you to all our friends.

Our visit in Paris couldn't have been more enjoyable thanks mostly to Walid and his lovely apartment. The apartment has everything you could need with a view of the Eiffel Tower's top from the bed to boot! The location was just perfect -- a few blocks one way to the wonderful market street Rue Cler and a few blocks the other way to the Eiffel Tower and its wonderful park. We ended up eating all but one night in our neighborhood at restaurants Walid had recommended -- all were incredible. So much nicer and more comfortable than a hotel. Our only hesitation in sending this recommendation is that the apartment will be become so popular, it won't be available for our next visit.

We had a fantastic time at your apartment. It was great to have so much space! The neighborhood was really quiet with plenty of good restaurants and easy access to the entire city. We felt like we lived there, not like we were just visiting. We went by rue Cler almost every day and really enjoyed the view of the Eiffel Tower... this is definitely the way to go when you visit Paris, we cant wait to return! |

Paris in October: We were looking for an apartment in Paris where we could work and live for a month. We wanted a place with a view, sunny, a living neighborhood, a full kitchen with a real oven, a modern bathroom, always online internet access and quality. We found all this and more at the Colonel Combes apartment.
It was a real treat to live and work the Parisian style for a whole month. The 7th Arrondisement was the perfect neighborhood for us. The Poujauran Bakery, The "Traiteur" Davoli on rue Cler and the little Restaurant L'Auvergne Gourmande for lunch became our favorites.
An added value was the helpful and enthusiastic owner.

This apartment really made you feel like you were living in Paris and not just visiting. It was quiet and relaxing. It has all of the amenities that you may ever want. We expected to feel cramped in such a small space but the apartment is laid out so well that you don't feel clastrophobic at all. It is within walking distance of many landmarks; the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, the Lourve and the Seine among others. For those farther, several bus lines are just a few minutes away. There is a grocery store just around the corner, across from what my wife and I believe is one of the best bakeries in Paris - Poujauran. Je ne veux pas partir! We must not forget Walid and Charla. They are fantastic. They answered all of our questions before signing the contract and were very helpful. Also, they answered the many questions after signing the contract. Do not hesitate to rent from Walid and Charla. We forgot to mention that you have a view of the Eiffel Tower from the living room.

My husband and I loved this apartment with great views of the Eiffel Tower and just a few minutes walk to the wonderful Rue Cler with all the open-air markets. It is also a great location for an evening stroll along the Seine. Can't wait to go back again.

My friend Janet and I enjoyed meeting you and were impressed with the remodeling you did on the apartment. The location of the apartment is wonderful as it was within walking distance to many of the areas we wanted to go to. It's close proximity to two metro lines made going everywhere we needed to go in the city and even the countryside accessible
The apartment was very quiet and we felt very safe in the security-coded building. The neighborhood is near the Rue Cler, which makes getting groceries and necessities effortless. Walid was always available by telephone for questions while we were there. The apartment provided all of the provisions of home--washer & drier, full kitchen, and all of the amenities of home without all of the work. We prepared many meals effortlessly in the kitchen and enjoyed eating them with our view of the top of the Eiffel Tower out the window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment.
