The quaint Rue du Jour is surrounded with some of the best shopping Paris can offer -- the Halles, with its multitude of shops, the Place des Victoires with its chic fashion boutiques, and the rue Montorgueil open air market street with its wonderful fresh produce and bustling cafés. Both the Louvre and the Pompidou Center are a short walking distance from here.
A Zen atmosphere permeates this two-bedroom apartment. Separate bath, shower, and toilet -- all sheathed with elegant anthracite Brussels stone tiles. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed, while the adjoining bedroom has a comfortable day bed that can sleep two more. A fully equipped glass-enclosed kitchen gives onto the living/dining area. The bedroom windows open onto a small courtyard at the rear with views of St. Eustache church. The living/dining room windows look onto the quaint rue du Jour, facing an elegant, late 19th century fire station building.
Soft lighting, contemporary minimalist decor and fine furnishings define the unique style of this urban retreat.
Apartment located on the first floor (second US), accessible by one flight of stairs or small elevator.
Closest metro stations are Etienne Marcel, Les Halles, Sentier
No pets, and no smoking, please.

The 1st arrondissement is the least populated of the 20 arrondissements of Paris, France. It is located on the Right Bank, at the center of the city. It is one of the oldest arrondissements in Paris, with parts (Les Halles included) dating back to the Middle Ages
Important places include: Les Halles; The Louvre; Palais Royal; Comédie-Française; Isle de la Cité; Centre Pompidou; Place Vendôme; Chatelet theater; Tuileries gardens;
Immediate vicinity
Rue Montorgueil market street: it is one of the most "in" streets in Paris at present. It has plenty of traditional food stores, mixed with very chic cafés. Some of the shops are very old, such as the pâtisserie Sthorer, founded in 1730.
Le Forum des Halles: a huge shopping mall.
Place des Victoires: very chic shopping
Eglise St-Eustache: You have a great view of it from the master bedroom. Plenty of classical concerts are organized in this church.
Closest Metro station: Les Halles

Is there a hair dryer in the apartment?
All of our apartments are equipped with a hair dryer.
Is this a quiet apartment?
The rue du Jour is a very quiet small shopping street. There is, however, an old, albeit still active, fire station across the street. And though the fire trucks are not allowed to put their sirens on when they leave the station, they sometimes accomplish some driving exercises that can be bit noisy, especially in the Summer, with the windows fully open. In the winter, no noise can be heard from the apartment, because the windows are all insulated. Also, the bedrooms are on the other end of the apartment, which means that you do not hear any noise from your bed..
